Kenko Tournament Balls – White

Kenko TSOW-V is the white tournament soft tennis ball, the same one PSTA and ISTF events are played with. It is for matches and for experienced players who want to train with the ball they will play the tournament with. It carries the Japan Soft Tennis Association approval and is made in Japan. It weighs 30–31 g and measures 66 mm across, as ISTF rules require. That is the diameter of a tennis ball at roughly half the weight. According to Kenko, the difference from the Standard training ball is the share of balls that fly true, which is why this is the match ball. The ball is natural rubber with a valve. It holds pressure for a few weeks, then you top it up with the Kenko pump, which has a needle like a volleyball pump. Kenko recommends this pump for its valve balls. A correctly inflated ball dropped from 150 cm bounces to 70–80 cm. It comes as a 2-ball pack or a box of 12, where each ball works out cheaper. Supplied through the official Nagase Kenko distribution.
